We are navigating the current progression of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) with an abundance of caution.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. We will continue to uphold the highest standards of infection control as dictated by the CDC and OSHA. In addition, we want to tell you about some changes we are implementing in our practice to keep patients and staff safe at your next visit:
SCREENING: Please visit https://us.patientriver.com/LJVO to complete a screening questionnaire prior to your visit. You will be asked the same screening questions verbally when you are in the office.
HYGIENE: Please brush and floss at home prior to your visit, as our brushing stations are closed to prevent cross contamination. We will ask you to wash your hands and rinse with Peroxyl for 60 seconds before being seated for your appointment.
FACE COVERING: Please bring a face covering to your appointment and wear until instructed to remove.
OUR NEW LOOK: We will be wearing extra personal protective equiptment, too, including face shields for certain procedures, so we may look a little different!
PATIENTS ONLY: We will continue to request only patients enter the office to allow for proper physical distancing. Parents and siblings can wait right outside or in the car and we will walk the patient out when the appointment is over.
CHECKING IN: Please text (888)264-4556 when you arrive and remain outside until we come get you.
TEMPERATURE: A friendly greeter will meet you at the front and your temperature will be taken with a touchless thermometer. If the temperature exceeds 100.4 we may need to reschedule your appointment.
SCHEDULING: Once the appointment is complete, we will schedule the next visit, walk the patient out to their parents, and review the procedures that were done that day. If you need to reschedule the appointment that was assigned, please call right away to ensure you get a time that you desire.
CLEAN OFFICE: You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, video games, or beverages, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
