Traditional braces are a common sight in many teenage mouths and come in a number of colors and styles for the fashion conscious.

Clear or ceramic braces work to align teen or adult teeth just as quickly as traditional metal braces. 

The clear brackets themselves will not become stained or discolored, but the ligature (elastic) ties that go around the bracket can occasionally become discolored, so proper dental care and brushing is important. 

Brightly colored ligature tie options are also available, for those seeking a more colorful look.
Clear or ceramic braces are also slightly more fragile than traditional metal braces, so more care should be taken to avoid damage to them. 

The brackets themselves are small and smooth. Invisalign or Lingual Braces Life with clear or ceramic braces (as with other braces) does not have to be much different than normal. Orthodontic braces treatment can fit into your normal, active lifestyle.
